Wagashi Read is a visual novel that teaches players practical Japanese through numerous vignettes.

During another boring summer spent working, the winds of fate reconnect you with your childhood friend, Juni, a timid girl who finds comfort in writing stories – from dark thrillers to the fantastically glamorous. Get to know each other after all that time by shaping how each story unfolds on and beyond the page!

  • Progress naturally as you play, with stories designed to build your Japanese from beginner (JLPT N5) upward
