What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of A Knight of Lothen is fully playable and includes all the intended gameplay systems, combat mechanics, and levels to explore.

Players can expect a complete gameplay loop, including exploration, combat, and progression, although content is still being expanded and refined. Some features, areas, and polish are still in development.

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We may adjust the price as development progresses and new content and features are added. Players who join during Early Access will be supporting the development of the game and gaining access to it at an earlier stage.”

About This Game

Overview

Lothen has fallen.
Monsters roam its lands, and something far darker stirs beneath the ruins. Answering the king’s call, you are Sir Dorian Ester, a lone knight sent to reclaim a kingdom on the brink of collapse.

A Knight of Lothen is a metroidvania where exploration and combat go hand in hand.

Traverse a connected world, unlock new abilities, and discover powerful items that open new paths, secrets, and challenges.

World / setting

Set in Vitallia, a dark medieval world shaped by war, and powerful history. From ruined strongholds to cursed wilderness, each area hides fragments of a larger story waiting to be uncovered.
