Handmade most of the art in game, before the current gen AI wave. That said, AI is an incredibly powerful tool for rapid prototyping and iteration.

AI was used to help concept art for achievements and store capsules, and generic UI. Code agents, not image gen tools, were instructed to write svg code to produce a specific image composition, which was then refined by hand.

AI was also used to help with the design and text in the "Learn" section, but again it was refined by hand.
