About This Game

Venturaka is a single player 3D platformer/puzzle game that is all about the gameplay and the adventure.

In Venturaka, players will journey through large, intricate levels filled with platforming, puzzles and all kinds of varied challenges that will test both their mechanical and mental skills. Classic gameplay without interruptions and excessive handholding.

Jump, crouch, vault, hang, swim and swing across a variety of big individual levels connected through an overarching arc that will take players on a trip to discover unexplored natural nooks, hidden temples and atmospheric locales that will keep them constantly wondering what's around the corner.

Every level will keep players on their toes by presenting them with a set of fresh challenges that range from perilous jumping stretches to elaborate puzzles that provide a new kind of challenge every time.

Sometimes the players will be facing a small, isolated challenge, others they'll be jumping across dangerous pits to solve a part of a level-wide puzzle.

No two levels are the same in Venturaka.

Venturaka features two different playable characters. One, equipped with a swing hook, is all about weighty, deliberate jumps, with a more methodical approach to the gameplay. The other, with his propelling rod, provides a snappier, more reactive style of gameplay with shorter but faster movement and jumps. 

Both of them keep the core gameplay the same: challenging, manual gameplay with no scripted platforming, sticky jumps, automated actions or puzzles that solve themselves. Everything the character does, the player has commanded them to do.

It's the turn of the millenium. As summer approaches, a mountaineer tour guide receives a call that will change his quiet life overnight. Before he knows it, he and his new mysterious clients are set on a journey where they will be unraveling mysteries and uncovering secrets long forgotten in an unforgettable adventure.

Following the paths of ancient legends, they will make the past come alive in more ways than one...
