What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“66 is a multiplayer dinosaur survival game built around long-term growth, species balance, player interaction, and a living prehistoric ecosystem. These systems benefit greatly from real player feedback, especially in areas such as dinosaur balance, movement, combat feel, growth pacing, survival difficulty, map flow, and server stability.

We want to involve the community early so players can help shape the direction of the game while the core survival experience continues to evolve. Early Access allows us to test the game with real players, improve the most important systems, and build 66 into a stronger and more complete dinosaur survival experience over time.

Our goal is to be transparent about the current state of the game, listen closely to feedback, and continue expanding the world, playable dinosaurs, abilities, animations, sounds, environments, and survival mechanics throughout development.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect 66 to remain in Early Access until the core survival experience feels stable, balanced, and satisfying for long-term play.

Because 66 is a multiplayer survival game with species progression, combat, growth, server stability, and ecosystem balance, we do not want to rush the full release before these systems feel right. Our current estimate is that Early Access may last around 12 to 24 months, but this may change depending on player feedback, development progress, and the level of polish needed.

Our goal is to leave Early Access only when the game has a strong foundation, balanced playable species, reliable multiplayer systems, and a survival experience that feels ready for a wider audience.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of 66 is planned to offer a more complete, polished, and balanced dinosaur survival experience.

During Early Access, our focus will be on improving the core systems: movement, combat, growth, hunger, thirst, stamina, server stability, species balance, and the overall feel of survival. As development continues, we plan to expand the game with more playable dinosaurs, improved animations, additional sounds, more refined abilities, better AI and ecosystem behavior, expanded environments, improved UI, and deeper survival mechanics.

The full version is intended to have a stronger sense of progression, more polished multiplayer systems, a more complete prehistoric world, and a better-balanced ecosystem where different species have clear roles, strengths, and weaknesses.

Our goal is for the full release to feel more stable, content-rich, immersive, and rewarding than the Early Access version, while keeping the same core identity: hunt, grow, hide, migrate, and survive in a brutal prehistoric world.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of 66 includes the core foundation of the game: multiplayer dinosaur survival in a prehistoric environment.

Players can enter the world, control a playable dinosaur, explore the map, manage survival needs such as hunger and thirst, grow over time, and interact with other players in a shared online environment. The game already includes basic movement, stamina, health, growth, eating, drinking, combat interactions, UI elements, and dedicated server support.

However, 66 is still actively in development. Some systems are incomplete, placeholder, or subject to major changes. Animations, sounds, balancing, species variety, map content, combat feel, AI behavior, UI polish, and server stability will continue to improve throughout Early Access.

Players should expect a playable but evolving survival experience, with bugs, balance changes, missing content, and ongoing updates as we build toward the full version.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. We expect the price of 66 to increase after Early Access as the game becomes more complete and includes more content, polish, playable dinosaurs, features, and overall improvements.

However, the final pricing decision will be made closer to the full release, based on the state of the game, the amount of content added, and the overall value of the final version. During Early Access, we want the price to reflect the current state of the game while development continues.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to involve the community by listening closely to player feedback throughout Early Access.

Because 66 is a multiplayer dinosaur survival game, player feedback is very important for improving balance, combat feel, movement, growth pacing, survival difficulty, species roles, map flow, and server stability. We want players to help us understand what feels fun, what feels unfair, what needs more polish, and which systems should be improved first.

We plan to collect feedback through Steam discussions, community posts, bug reports, gameplay suggestions, and direct player observations during development. Community feedback will help guide updates, balance changes, new features, playable dinosaurs, animations, sounds, UI improvements, and overall quality-of-life changes.

Our goal is to build 66 together with the players and create a survival experience that feels better, fairer, and more exciting over time.”

About This Game

66 takes you back to the final age of giants — a savage prehistoric world where dinosaurs rule the land, the water, and the shadows between them.

You are not a hero. You are not safe.
You are prey until you prove otherwise.

Start small, survive long enough to grow, and become the creature others fear. Hunt for food, search for water, avoid larger predators, and learn when to fight, flee, or hide. In a world filled with rival carnivores, defensive herbivores, ambush predators, and unpredictable players, every moment is part of the food chain.

66 is about instinct, survival, and the struggle to become something greater.
