Why Early Access?

“I chose Early Access because my game relies on an extraction loop and a camp economy that require real player feedback. As a solo developer, collaborating with the community is essential for me to fine-tune contract difficulty, zombie aggression, and resource balancing. This will allow me to create the most immersive and fair experience possible based on your feedback.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I expect the game to remain in Early Access for approximately 6 to 12 months. This timeframe will depend on community feedback and the time needed to implement planned additional features, while ensuring the highest possible quality for the full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The goal is to enrich the overall experience by adding additional content throughout development. I plan to explore adding new extraction zones, diversifying enemy types, and expanding the camp's construction options. I also intend to deepen the crafting and equipment customization systems, while fine-tuning the general balance based on player feedback.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version offers a playable and stable experience featuring the core gameplay loop: accepting ARC contracts, infiltrating infested zones, and scavenging resources. Camp management systems (including the armory and vegetable garden) are functional, as is the evolving enemy difficulty mechanic. Character progression and the basic crafting system are also already in place.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price of the game will likely increase upon the full release. By purchasing during Early Access, players benefit from a lower price as a thank you for supporting me during development. This reflects the value added over time with the arrival of new features, new zones, and more extensive content.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I will closely monitor player feedback through the Steam Community forums and my dedicated Discord server. Every review or comment regarding balancing, bugs, or content suggestions will be considered to guide future updates. My goal is to build a transparent relationship with players by regularly publishing devlogs and engaging directly with the community on Discord to evolve the project together.”

THE A.R.C: YOUR ONLY CHANCE AT SURVIVAL

In a devastated world, the A.R.C organization maintains a semblance of order. You don’t lead this sanctuary you serve it. To ensure your safety and that of the community, you must take on risky extraction contracts to bring back the resources needed for camp expansion.

CAMP MANAGEMENT AND DEVELOPMENT

The A.R.C camp evolves through your successes. Use extracted resources to:

  • Build vital infrastructure: Crafting benches, material recyclers, and conditioning stations.

  • Expand the refuge: Complete NPC quests to unlock new services such as the Armory or the Vegetable Garden.

  • The Conditioning Station: Upgrade your physical attributes and skills to become the organization's ultimate asset.

  • Gear up for war: Buy, find, or craft advanced equipment to face ever-growing threats.

HIGH-STAKES PVE EXTRACTION

Infiltrate hostile zones where time is your greatest enemy.

  • Evolving Difficulty: While zombies are initially slow, their aggression increases with the danger of your contracts. The more valuable the loot, the faster and deadlier the threat.

  • The Price of Failure: Scavenge the environment, complete your objectives, and reach the extraction point before the timer hits zero. If you fall in combat, your gear is lost.

As a solo developer, I utilized generative AI tools during the development process in the following ways

- Visual Assets: AI was used to assist in the creation and enhancement of certain background images and textures. All final assets were manually reviewed and integrated to ensure quality and consistency.

- Text & Localization: I used AI for proofreading, refining the phrasing of in-game text, and assisting with translations into multiple languages to ensure a polished experience for players worldwide.

- Voice Generation: AI was used to generate certain voice lines in the game. All audio content was reviewed, selected, and integrated manually to ensure it fits the intended tone and quality.

All AI-assisted content was pre-generated and manually verified by me to ensure quality and compliance. The game does not feature any real-time AI generation during gameplay.
