It all begins with a troubling letter from his brother. From that moment on, every certainty crumbles. Guido returns to the mountain village surrounded by marble quarries. There is something ancient and dark in the air—something that does not wish to be found.

Guido must cross the gloomy, smoky village, decipher cryptic riddles, and sift through mysterious letters in the silence of the Apuan peaks. He can rely only on his senses, his clarity, and his sense of direction.
