About This Game

THE GAME

Ice Moon Odyssey is a hand-painted 2d adventure game. You'll explore, collect specimens, and craft upgrades for your research equipment. Stealth mechanics and 'creature-care' are important too. And you'll need to try not to get eaten by any alien sea monsters while you're out cruising the depths on your sea-bike..

The game takes place on a newly discovered moon of the planet Neptune. A small ice covered satellite which has been dubbed Glacialis. We thought it would be extra cool if life were discovered in the orbit of the mysterious blue gas giant. Afterall, Neptune was named after the roman god of the sea! 

You play as a marine biologist and explorer, known as an Icebreaker. Part scientist, part adventurer. And you have been tasked with documenting all that you find. 

Unless you’ve been living in a pineapple under the sea (or under a rock, Patrick) then you know what’s going on with our environment. About the impacts we humans are having on things. But we're not here to point fingers. Most everyone on our team appreciates sushi as much as the next person.

We know that you know the ocean needs help.

And what it really seems to need most is more geniuses, and big hearts, and heroes to fight for it and to dream up new ways to heal it and protect it.

And that’s where IMO comes in.

You see, there's a feeling we’ve been after. This whole time. A dream of hope. Wrapped up in cobalt-blue, cyan, cerulean, and ultramarine. Millions of hand-painted blue pixels, and music to swoon over, accompanied by the siren calls of never before seen wildlife hidden deep beneath the icy surface of a newly discovered alien world.
