Escape the Umbra is a tactical roguelike deckbuilder where every room is a puzzle and every route changes the run. Choose your doors, read the threats ahead, and commit to a path through a prison that rearranges itself around you.

THE ONLY WAY OUT IS TO GO DEEPER

There is no safe road back. Push into new depths to find stronger spells, equipment, and relics, making every door a wager between the power you need and the danger waiting beyond it.

THE DEEPER YOU GO, THE STRONGER HIS SHADOW BECOMES

Every descent gives the Umbra more of the board. Its darkness closes around the Reaver, conceals enemies, and turns familiar rooms into new tactical problems. What you cannot see can still move—and strike.

CARRY LIGHT INTO THE HEART OF THE UMBRA

Light is a weapon. Expose enemies hidden beyond your vision, pierce the dark with Truesight, then strike before the shadow closes again. Push foes into traps, shape the battlefield with movement and terrain, and combine elemental cards to punish whole formations.

YOU WILL NEED THE RIGHT EQUIPMENT TO FACE THE GREATEST TESTS

Claim new cards after combat, attune the magic that fits your plan, and equip the gear you find without breaking the pace of the run. Weapons, armor, relics, and spells reshape what your deck can do—and the right combination can turn a desperate descent into a devastating build.
