Roadmap

About This Game

The deep silence of the brutal winter embraces you when you wake up one morning in your cabin. There's no food anymore. A half-empty can of soda in the fridge. A beaten up old car in your garage with all the parts lying around it, and the cold starts to wrap around you, fingers tingling and hunger twisting your stomach around. You know you have to get the car running quickly now and you must leave the warmth of your home. There's no way out but the long and treacherous road into the unknown.

Drive, scavenge, upgrade and survive an Arctic wasteland that is actively trying to freeze and stop you — play solo or with up to 4 players in co-op.

Arctic Drive is a first-person co-op survival sim built around one fragile thing: your car. In this exploration-survival every run generates a fresh stretch of frozen wilderness and drops you into it with a rusted rig, a thin tank of fuel and a long way to go.

The cold kills you slowly, but the icy road kills your car fast, so you better have friends and supplies with you to keep on going. Drive safely onward and keep on gathering items to recycle and turn into upgrades by crafting them.

FEATURES

  • Trailers and RVs you can convert into mobile bases

  • Hunger, thirst and body temperature to manage

  • Blizzards, whiteouts and a full day-night cycle

  • Scenarios to complete, or open sandbox

  • 1–4 player online co-op

A LONG ROAD WITH NO MAP

You start with a beat-up car, whatever you can find in the garage, and a road going anywhere and nowhere. On the long drive ahead you will find an odd cabin or gas station that might give you more fuel, an empty cardboard box to recycle later, or nothing but safety from a blizzard. The road narrows, the treeline closes in, and the weather does not care what your plan was. Every mile you drive is a new, big adventure.

LOAD IT UP AND HOPE FOR THE BEST

Every item in the world is a real physical object. Throw jerrycans in the trunk, stack boxes across the back seat, and tow a trailer filled to the brim behind you. But remember that weight slows you down and burns fuel faster, and one tight turn on the road can spread the whole haul across the snow behind you.

But just wait, just around the next hill you just might find a working generator with a recycler and crafting bench hooked up, and you can upgrade your convoy to survive yet another mile, yet another blizzard, yet another crash because your friend had a great idea to engage handbrake at full speed.

The Arctic will not kill you, but your fuel gauge will.
