About This Game

A Prophecy of Blood

Bloody Moon: First Fear slips into the black holes of French history.

On 10 July 1559, the husband of Catherine de Médicis dies from a lance splinter that entered his eye at a tournament ten days earlier. That is a fact. Everyone knows it. That is where our story begins.

But behind the facts we know, Nostradamus and the Queen shared a secret that history buried on purpose. A secret paid on the rare nights the Moon turns into blood.

It begins in Saint-Rémy-de-Provence, in the ruins of Glanum. A place swallowed by the earth and forgotten, that no one uncovered until 1921. But the horror down there is far older than the Romans. Before them lived a forgotten people who cut the heads from their victims and offered them to ancient Gods.

We will not tell you more. Only this: every single piece of this puzzle existed.

And that is the vertigo. Is all of it true?

Nobody is coming for you

You wake up at the bottom of a mass grave.

They threw you in with the rest, because your blood was declared unworthy. Nobody is coming back to help. As far as the cult that put you down here is concerned, you have already been disposed of.

The rite did not work. But it did something to you. Now you can see in the dark and the light burns you. It is a gift, as it is a wound. And it is yours, for as long as you last.

No weapons. No interface. No way out, but go up, through a place built to leave no trace, no witness, and nothing to find.

The Awakening of Pure Horror

There is no sanity bar, no map, no icon blinking to warn you that you are losing it. There is no interface at all. We took everything off the screen.

There is only your body. And it's going to sell you out.

Down here, sound is the only thing that kills. What hunts you cannot see in the dark. It does not need to. It hears everything. Bloody Moon: First Fear listens to your real microphone.

There is nothing left between you and them. Your breathing is them breathing. Scream in your room and all the crypt hears you.

In this game, panic is something you feel and it will haunt you.

Mature Content Description

The developers describe the content like this:

Bloody Moon: First Fear is a survival horror game that emphasizes a persistent atmosphere of visceral dread and psychological tension. The experience includes graphic depictions of violence and gore rooted in a dark occult history where rituals and predation are central to the narrative. Players are placed in a position of absolute vulnerability, with no weapons and a total lack of interface, forcing them to face gruesome environments and hidden threats. The story explores mature themes such as the manipulation of influential circles by secret societies and the physical and mental scarring of individuals caught within a thousand-year-old prophecy.
