About This Game

Seferia: Matrix is a roguelike deckbuilding game inspired by Yahtzee. Cast spells with dice hands and detonate artifact synergies to beat target scores that climb with every stage.

Dice games are just luck, right?

You roll five. Three 4s. Lock them, roll the rest. One more makes four-of-a-kind, and one reroll left. This is where your pulse picks up.

It never lands? You still have options. Flip a die with a sigil and slam the four-of-a-kind spell home.

The harder the hand, the harder it hits. Give two mages the same dice, and the one with the build wins.

Tear up the scoring formula

Scoring in this game is not a fixed formula. 200 'Artifacts' bought from the shop cut into the middle of the calculation — raising base score, multiplying, amplifying each other. Bonus perks make the same artifact play differently every time.

'Phase Upgrades' engrave 12 kinds of enchantments straight onto your dice — a die with a Retrigger Seal gets counted twice. 'Spellbooks' level up your 14 spells for raw firepower, and 20+ 'Sigils' flip a die to the exact face you need at the worst possible moment.

When all four axes lock together, one spell changes the digit count of your score.

Between stages, a 'Dimension Decipher' opens: the three-way augmentation pick every roguelike fan knows, drawing from a pool of 100+ options that can bend a whole run. Every gain costs something.

Pick a school, play a different game

Each run starts with a choice of three schools — the base your whole run grows from. All 14 spells are split cleanly between the schools: which hands you chase, which Dimension Decipher options appear, how you scale — all of it changes.

Arcana stacks matching faces and banks them as mana. Nihila bets everything on three- and four-of-a-kinds. Materia rolls full houses and straights into multipliers and gold. Which one first?

The bosses fight back. 'Exhaustion' locks your Max Mana at 1. 'Prohibition' does exactly what it says. Thirty boss patterns twist the rules your build was leaning on.

Losing still pays

When a run collapses, your 'tokens' remain. Spend them on 'Personal Training' — permanent upgrades that raise where your next mage starts — and unlock new artifacts, spellbooks, and sigils along the way.

Three schools, eight difficulty tiers, and handicap combinations on top: one clear is only the beginning.

Seferia: Matrix is built by a single developer — 200 interlocking artifacts carved by one pair of hands, three schools tuned like three different games.

The end goal: succeed the twenty-one Guardians who came before. The 22nd seat is still empty.
