“We are a 2-person team and this is our debut title. Crown & Spores is a game with immense potential for growth, including new, exciting features, biomes, and products. The current version already has the core gameplay foundations and its main concept in place. The best way to further develop the game is to put it into the hands of the community and co-create future elements together with them.”

“We estimate that releasing the full version of the game will take between 1.5 and 2 years.

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“On release, Crown & Spores is a fully playable product with an optional co-op mode. The amount of implemented mechanics guarantees 15 to 20 hours of gameplay. The current version features 3 zones (city, village, and swamps), a plant growing system, potion brewing and mushroom cultivating mechanics based on it, a reputation-based quest system, a character creator (various outfits), magic-based combat and exploration elements, over 50 hand-designed NPCs, and a mount system.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes, we plan to raise the price of the game upon the release of the full version.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Feedback, suggestions, and bug reports will be collected via Steam Discussions, our official Discord server, and social media platforms like X and Instagram. Although we have general plans for further development, the community's voice and their thoughts on what the game is missing, as well as which elements and aspects need attention, will remain crucial to us. Listening and consistently working hard will be our top priority to deliver a game that is satisfying for everyone.”

About This Game
