What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Soulstonia’s core systems are already playable, from managing your Summoners’ idle goals to exploring all five regions. Early Access will help refine how combat, gathering, crafting, and progression work together over longer adventures.

As a solo developer, I’ll use player feedback to improve pacing, balance, and usability while expanding the world with more content.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Approximately 3 to 6 months, depending on development progress and player feedback. This is an estimate and may change as priorities evolve.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to expand on the existing game with more quests, higher-level equipment and crafting, enemies, points of interest, and dynamic events. Guilds and a major boss encounter for each of the five regions are also planned.

The Cursed Realm is currently planned alongside the full release. Throughout Early Access, player feedback will help shape balance, polish, and development priorities. These plans may change.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The core experience is playable across all five regions, with:

A main campaign spanning 30+ quests, parties of up to five Summoners with direct control and autonomous idle goals, gathering/production/combat skills trainable to level 99, a procedurally generated world with villages, discoveries, and points of interest, including more than 60 creature types and their Soulstones.

Balance, polish, and higher-level content are still being developed.
Early Access saves will be compatible through updates and into the full release.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No. Soulstonia’s base game is planned to remain free-to-play during Early Access and after release.

Optional purchases are planned to include the Supporter Pack, soundtrack, Summoner and Save Slot Expansions, mounts, and additional bank tabs. These purchases will not be required to play the free base game.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Feedback will be reviewed through Steam Discussions, Discord, surveys, bug reports, and the in-game Give Feedback button.

Tell me what’s fun, where progression drags, or when your Summoners do something unexpected. Your feedback, alongside gameplay statistics, will help guide balance changes, usability improvements, and development priorities. Regular patch notes and development updates will share what’s changing.”

Roadmap

About This Game

Play hands-on. Play idle. Switch whenever.

Soulstonia is a cozy idle RPG where your Summoners have minds of their own. Recruit Summoners with individual skills, equipment, traits, and goals, and build a party of up to five.

Set idle goals and let your Summoners gather resources, craft equipment, and fight enemies for you.

Take direct control whenever you want to explore, tackle a quest, or join a fight. Guide one Summoner personally, bring your party together, or watch them get on with their adventures.

Train 20+ Skills. Build Your Party.

Every Summoner develops independently. Train combat, gathering, and crafting skills to build specialists or generalists who can do a little bit of everything.

Mine ore and smith new equipment. Catch fish and cook meals for your next expedition. Chop wood and build useful structures. The resources you gather become the supplies and equipment that help your party take on more.

Farm crops, steal from markets, carve runes, and enchant equipment. Shape each Summoner through their skills and gear, then pursue the next unlock yourself or set an idle goal to work toward it.

Summon an Army of Creatures

Recruit Summoners and discover Soulstones that call creatures into battle. Equip your party with stacks of Soulstones to summon an army that complements your Summoners’ skills.

Combine melee, ranged, and magic combat with your summons. Experiment with equipment, spells, enchantments, and creature combinations as you prepare for tougher enemies.

Explore a Living Fantasy World

Venture across five regions, from grasslands and deserts to jungle, snow, and volcanic terrain. Uncover the fog of war, meet local characters, and take on quests across a procedurally generated continent.

Discover villages, rune altars, ruins, hidden treasures, and colossal enemies. Life beyond your party brings its own surprises: invaders can reach the shores, markets can crash, and blood moons can strengthen roaming creatures.

Follow a quest into unfamiliar territory, prepare for your next battle, or settle down by the water and spend the afternoon fishing.

Free to Play

Early Access begins December 10, 2026. The base game will be free to play, with optional DLC and in-game purchases.
