About This Game

Optimize your hand, destroy your opponents, and turn everything upside down on a whim! This is not like any other card game: it is Blackjack Mayhem. Gather your friends and crush them with all the fairness and balance of a street scam. Use your Mayhem cards to alter the flow of the game in unpredictable ways. Force your pal to hit on a 20, or steal their Blackjack from right under their nose; the choice is yours! Careful, though. Snooze for a second and you might find the rug pulled out from under you. It is Mayhem, after all!

The Wild Ace: Everyone knows the warm sense of security that comes with drawing an ace in Blackjack. The Wild Ace takes that sense of security and turns it into PASSION! Taking any value from 5 to 11, the Wild Ace is the embodiment of go big or go home! The brave will Hit with the hopes of getting to that perfect 21, yet the slightest bit of bad luck will make even the most calculated player lose.

The Saboteur: In Blackjack Mayhem, simply winning a hand is not enough. You must make sure your opponent loses, too. That is where the Saboteur comes in. Pick the opponent with the strongest hand (or the one you want to annoy the most) and force them to draw a card. In exchange, you forfeit your right to Hit. Mayhem does not discriminate.

The Jester: Your friend looks mighty smug with that clean Blackjack they were dealt. Naturally, you can wipe that look right off their face with the one and only Jester. Just pick an opponent and swap hands with them! However, the Jester isn't your friend. Even if you're perfectly happy with your hand, once this fella's in your hand you have no option but to switch hands with someone. Such are the rules of Mayhem.

The Vanguard: Your very own guardian angel in the face of unbridled Mayhem, the Vanguard shields you from any and all incoming damage. His services have a price, though. Lose the hand and he will take his services elsewhere.

The Nurse: Replenish your stakes in the nurturing care of the Nurse. Should you win your hand, she will make sure you are reimbursed for all the hitpoints you bet. Comforting!

The Knight: None shall escape the Knight's mighty blade! Winning a hand makes him so excited that he can't help but deal damage! Please keep his sword in a place where children can't reach.

The Mortar: Area damage! The large cannonballs of the Mortar make your attacks hit weaker but wider. Winning with this bad boy in your hands ensures that all your opponents get a piece of you.

The Mirror: Why're you hitting yourself? Why're you hitting yourself? Because your opponent won with the Mirror in their hand, of course! This sneaky rascal appears as a regular card until the end of the round. Once revealed, you just know you're gonna have a bad time. All that damage you were hoping to deal is on its way right back at you.

The Hot Potato: The unassuming flammable spud starts its life cycle as a wee little card with a value of 3. It matures every time it is dealt again, increasing its value by 3. Spudologists claim a mature Hot Potato may go so far as to be the card with the highest value, surpassing the ace.
