Miksi Early Access?

Huebound is playable and fun right now, but there's a lot more I want to build. Early Access lets me get the core game in front of players while I develop the prestige system, balance the economy, and add features based on community feedback.

6-12 months. The core gameplay loop is complete. The remaining work is balance tuning, the prestige/reset system, quality-of-life improvements, and content expansion based on player feedback.

Plans at this point are to address balance and replay value at first, then move into expanding features, but are always subject to change based on community feedback.

Specifically, we're looking at different interesting factory nodes, and upgradability of the existing factory nodes. We are also considering adding additional shop options, if they feel fun!

Huebound is an abstract idle factory game about mixing colors.

Place geometric nodes on an infinite canvas, wire them together, and watch colored orbs flow through your network. Blue, Red, and Yellow sources generate primary orbs. Combiners mix them using subtractive color rules — just like real paint. Sellers convert orbs into Light, your currency. Spend Light to expand your factory, unlock new node types, and chase rarer colors.

**256 named colors** hide in the palette. Some are easy — Blue + Red = Purple. Others require layered mixing chains and careful planning. Every color has a name, a tier, and a value. The rarest hues — those furthest from the primaries — are worth the most.
