About This Game

Winter 1999. You play as Fumiko, an over-achiever and former Student Council President, living in a small and relatively unknown town. After being outed by your closest friend, ruining your home life, your friendships, and your future career plans, you decide to leave your hometown, taking your chances on a one-way train to Tokyo to become an idol. With no real plans and no adults to depend on, you're determined to leave everything behind—even your girlfriend, Mika.

However, Mika calls you one night. She says she wants to see you one more time before you leave. You decide to go on one more date together, hours before your departure.

Decide whether or not you'll stay together in this PC-98 inspired visual novel. But remember, no matter what you do, there'll always be consequences.

 FUMIKO

You play as Fumiko, an over-achiever and former Student Council President with a regal air, despite coming from a broken family. With nowhere else to go, you decide to leave your hometown and move to Tokyo to become an idol. Though you try to stay positive, you feel embittered to everyone else who hurt you—including Mika, your girlfriend.

"It's okay to dream sometimes, right? Otherwise, what else is there for me?"

 MIKA

Your girlfriend. A shy homebody girl from a wealthy family, she's opened a lot to you since you started dating in secret last year. Though she's a generally sweet person who cares about your well-being, she finds it difficult to express her own feelings and can come off passive-aggressive. When she gets the news that you're leaving town, she isn't sure how to react.

"My real dream was to make a friend in school. Someone like you..."

A branching storyline set in 1999 about adolescent drama, nostalgia, and the pain of being "seen", totaling ~10K words per playthrough.

Variable dialogue choices, providing additional context (and conflict) into your relationship with Mika.

Two(?) endings with unique CG and dialogue.

Handcrafted 16bit pixel art, reminiscent of PC-98 Japanese romance games, brought to modern resolutions.

A melancholic soundtrack replicating the YM2608 soundchip, created by William Gomez.
