About This Game

Diception is a fast-paced, minimalistic conquest game. Inspired by classics like Risk and DiceWars, it features quick turn-based matches, an extensive campaign, a built-in editor, and local multiplayer for up to 8 players. By replacing the classic isometric view with an optimized 2D Grid View, the game offers seamless Mouse, Keyboard, and Gamepad support for a lightning-fast experience.

  • Flat 2D Grid Maps: Diception uses a clean 2D matrix with 4-way connections. This enables lightning-fast WASD or D-Pad controls, allowing for rapid-fire gameplay without sacrificing strategic depth.

  • Deep Customization: Why settle for six sides? Battle with 1 to 16-sided dice or enable parallel turns for maximum chaos. Adjust win conditions and match settings to create your own unique way to play.

  • Adjustable Speed: Choose from 3 different animation modes. Whether you want to savor every move or "blitz" through territories in seconds, the choice is yours.

  • Massive Campaign: 84 handcrafted levels with various settings are waiting for you to master.

  • Local Multiplayer : Battle up to 8 players in local multiplayer. Thanks to Steam Remote Play Together, your friends can join the fun online even if they don't own the game!
