About This Game

Werewolf Hunter – Gameplay Overview

Werewolf Hunter is a co-op survival horror game where you do not blindly hunt a monster. First, you have to understand what you are dealing with.

Investigate. Analyze. Prepare. Hunt. Kill.

1. Gear Up and Prepare

In Werewolf Hunter, every round starts inside a randomly placed container where you prepare for the mission. Choose your equipment, coordinate with your team, and decide who takes which tools.

After that, you leave the safe zone and begin the investigation.

2. Collect and Identify Evidence

Across the world, you will find different clues connected to the active Alphawolf. These pieces of evidence can appear in different places throughout the environment.

Possible evidence includes:

  • Fur samples

  • Claw marks

  • Footprints

  • Temperature readings

  • Radiation readings

  • Environmental disturbances

To correctly identify these clues, you need the right tools and equipment. Some evidence can only be detected with specific devices, UV light sources, or analysis tools.

Every correctly identified piece of evidence narrows down the possible werewolf types.

3. Determine the Werewolf Type

Once enough evidence has been collected, you can determine the Alphawolf’s type. This is a crucial step, because the selected type is required for the following DNA analysis.

If you enter the wrong werewolf type during the analysis, the DNA sample is lost and you will have to collect DNA again. This means a mistake does not only cost time, but can also make the entire hunt much more dangerous.

4. Analyze the Weakness

Once the werewolf type is known, its weakness can be analyzed. Only then will you discover what can truly make the Alphawolf vulnerable.

Possible weaknesses can include silver, fire, or wormwood. Depending on the result, you will need to adjust your equipment and preparation accordingly.

Without this information, the final fight becomes much more dangerous.

5. Survive, Prepare, and Build Traps

Once the weakness is known, the preparation for the hunt begins. Gather resources, craft the right equipment, and build traps to weaken the Alphawolf in a targeted way.

Depending on the weakness, you will need different tools, weapons, or traps.

At this point, it is no longer just about investigating. It is about turning your findings into a working hunting plan.

6. The Final Hunt

The werewolf can track you, surprise you, knock you down, and split your group apart. Poor preparation can quickly become deadly.

Only if you read the evidence correctly, analyze the weakness, and prepare properly will you be able to kill the Alphawolf for good.
