What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“SuperTag enters Early Access to develop the game alongside its players. The core gameplay is functional, but the full experience is not yet available: some game modes will be introduced progressively and several systems still require refinement and balancing.

Real player behavior is necessary to properly tune movement, maps, and competitive rules. Feedback collected during this period will directly guide priorities, adjustments, and upcoming features rather than finalizing everything in isolation.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“The objective is to reach the full release within 1–2 years. The exact timeline depends on player reception and the scale of improvements identified during development.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The final version is planned to feature a stronger and more distinctive visual identity, aiming for a clearer “sport” presentation rather than a prototype look. Additional maps and new game modes are also planned alongside general polish and balance improvements.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The core modes — 1v1 Tag and Time Attack — are playable. Leaderboards and player statistics tracking are already implemented.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Development is intended to be collaborative. Feedback will be collected directly through the Discord community and used to guide priorities and improvements throughout development.”

About This Game

SuperTag is a first-person parkour game built around speed, movement control, and direct competition. Every action matters: momentum, angles, and decision-making define whether you escape or get caught.

The game takes place in a semi-futuristic setting where traditional parkour evolved into a structured competitive sport. Tag is no longer a playground activity — it became an organized discipline centered on pursuit, mind games, and optimal movement routes. This sport is known as SuperTag.

Two core modes are available:

Tag (1v1 Duel)
Face another player in a direct confrontation. One chases, the other escapes. The hunter must predict movement and cut routes, while the runner relies on mastery of traversal mechanics to survive as long as possible.

Climb The Tower (Time Attack)
A race against the clock. Players attempt to achieve the best time on dedicated maps and compete on leaderboards. Every jump, wallrun and landing must be optimized to gain milliseconds and beat other players’ records.

SuperTag focuses on readable level design, mechanical skill, and replayability through mastery rather than randomness. Movement is the core gameplay — the better you move, the better you perform.
