Why Early Access?

“We decided to opt for early access because we want to create Frocat Puzzles with the community. Although the main gameplay is already done, the game is still far from finished. We have many ideas about how to continue development. Some of our main goals at the moment are to add a completed storyline campaign, more unique puzzles, and to improve the general gaming experience using feedback from players. Early access gives us the opportunity to find out what players enjoy the most, so we can define our development priorities. We aim to continue active development, take feedback into account, and release a polished version.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We are planning to end the early access within a year, but to be honest, it's difficult to name a specific date.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“In the full version, we are planning to publish a complete storyline campaign featuring the main characters. To add more unique puzzles and mini-stories.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The early access version already contains the main gameplay: players can put together different original puzzles, each of which has its own design, music, and atmosphere. There are also mini-stories with puzzles in the game that should be completed in the right order.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We are not planning to change the price after early access ends.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Players will be able to share their reviews through Steam discussions and other communication channels. We will use these reviews to improve the current content and prioritise future updates.”
