About This Demo

Year: 2088. Location: Neo-Kyoto. Status: “under control”.

Welcome to rain-soaked Neo-Kyoto: criminal districts and the Protectorate’s glass high-rises. The city is a living organism. It smiles with neon signs, speaks through gunfights in back alleys, and punishes those who keep digging. You have a task: find an oligarch’s missing daughter. Every step inside this mission breeds more questions. Who are you, really? Who do you serve?

Chrysalis: Chrome Butterfly is a psychological cyberpunk thriller in a neo-noir vein, where the adrenaline of firepower meets the cold logic of investigation.

CHOREOGRAPHY OF CHAOS: In Neo-Kyoto, diplomacy exists as a genre of fiction. Not every negotiation ends peacefully, and sometimes you have to pick up a weapon. Mistakes aren’t forgiven here—every shot is part of a lethal dance. Enter time-slow mode to break through waves of enemies.

COLD DETECTIVE: Between bursts of chaos, you’re an investigator. Examine crime scenes, tail suspects, plant wiretaps. Uncover the city’s secrets.

DEEP FIGHT: Your subconscious becomes a second front. In surreal visions, an entity appears for whom truth is just a game. Can you remain yourself while hunting the elusive AI Mikaboshi?

FIGHT FOR REALITY: Chasing the “Dark Dawn” terrorists and the enigmatic Mikaboshi leads to a simple thought: truth is fluid. The only thing you can trust is your own doubt.

Complete the mission. Expose the conspiracy. Save the city.

Then ask yourself the one question the Protectorate would rather you didn’t: is the truth worth knowing?
