What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“This is a large project created by a small team, and while we've been making updates to different features across the game, we still need to explore what works for us in terms of aesthetics, online capabilities, and a proper schedule to make the best game as we can. Simply put, Early Access lets us see feedback so we can stabilize design, concepts, and learn what works.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Anything can change, but our primary goal is to have a finished and full release out of the Early Access stage sometime in December 2027 / January - March of 2028 as long as there's no interruptions, as again, we are a small team of people.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The differences between currently and in the future are primarily content-focused, we're planning on creating the Story Mode and a finished Editor which allows for level creation similar to the effort of levels in the Story Mode, alongside online multiplayer and an in-game online search to download and play levels. Of course, we're also keeping track of accessibility and a smooth experience for the finished product!”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“You can refer to the "Welcome to Solaris!" section of the game description.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We currently don't have any plans to raise the price, however, paid DLC may be coming down the line at any point after early access is complete.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We're always keeping an eye out on our community, this includes bug reports, feedback on the official GitHub repository, comments on various posts and reviews, alongside even YouTube videos and let's plays!”
