About This Game

The Machine is dying, and somebody woke Sparky up to fix it.

He didn't ask for this. He's small, he's a little scared, and he's now the last functioning part in a world of broken ones.

Every level, a different way to keep the lights on.

Realign gears and untangle stubborn machinery in hand-crafted puzzle rooms. Outwit or out charm the Engine's confused, half-forgotten inhabitants in a run of oddball minigames. And when diplomacy stops working, strap on a gun-bug companion and shoot your way through a full platforming gauntlet to the source of the failure itself.

The world is a body, and every region is a failing organ.

From the rusted ruins of the Unknown Village to the copper wired forests of Black Gear, each region has one last function to perform before it goes dark and its own way of testing you.

Confused. Oblivious. Hungry.

The Machine's inhabitants forgot what they were built for. Some just need reminding. Others need to be shut down.

It all comes down to a giant, furious Gearbox.

Everything Sparky's fixed or broke leads to his first real test: a gargantuan wreck of gears and rage that doesn't want to be turned off. It won't be the last thing standing between Sparky and the Engine's heart but it's the one that decides if he's ready for what's next.
