Why Early Access?

“The project is still early in development, and I am mostly working as a solo dev. While this means the game will continue to evolve over time, I am fully committed to ongoing development and long term support. I chose early access to gather player feedback, revise existing systems, and continue expanding the game with additional maps and features. Player feedback will be the biggest role in what the game becomes as I work toward a complete release.”

About This Game

Trust Me, I Work Here is a heist game where you lie your way to riches. Either solo, or as a group of up to four people. 

GOAL

You rob hospitals, preschools, museums and more by putting on disguises, and manipulating the NPCs into believing your lies. And while your costume sometimes won't match the setting, if you tell a convincing enough lie, anything goes. 

GAMEPLAY

You unlock more outfits to wear by stealing from the game's locations, a location is randomly selected and you can bring up to three outfits with you per heist. When entering a location, you will have a quota of valuables to steal before you can leave. But watch out for guards, teachers and anyone who tries to stop you.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

NPC dialogue in the game is generated at runtime using a fully local, private AI model that runs entirely on the player’s computer. This AI is used solely to generate NPC text responses during gameplay. No external servers or datacenters are used, and all interactions remain fully local. The AI output is constrained to in-game interactions and does not generate prohibited content. No AI was used in the development of the game’s code, art, soundtrack, or Steam store page.
