About This Demo

Welcome Back to 2002

In this demo version of Malware Tycoon, take a trip back to 2002, and re-experience the power of DSL Internet and WinGoals SP, Microrock's latest operating system. Preinstalled on your computer are applications that can be used to create sophisticated malware. Whether you seek to cause destruction, make money, and/or create malware that spreads autonomously, all the tools you need to do so are at your disposal.

Demo Scenarios

The demo of Malware Tycoon contains three different scenarios allowing you to get a comprehensive feel of the game and its various mechanics. These include:

Money Rush

Start with $500, and earn $10,000 as quickly as possible! Whether you choose to earn money through spreading adware on forums, investing, gambling, or even by working at WageSlave Inc. is up to you. Be careful - you must have at least $10,000 by the end of 2004, or you fail!

Infection Rush

Start with $500, and infect at least 10,000 users with a single piece of malware! The more users you infect, the better your final badge will be! You must be strategic as if your malware gets detected by antivirus engines, your infection rate will dip dramatically. If you fail to infect at least 10,000 users by the end of 2004, it's over!

Sandbox

Start with $10,000 without any objective. Whether you use that money to max out your skills and develop malware, gamble, or simply just enjoy surfing the web with no pressure, it's up to you!

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Malware Tycoon uses AI to the most minimal extent possible. This includes some music (but never any lyrical content) and a minimal subset of graphics (less than 5%).

AI is not used liberally in the production of Malware Tycoon, and where a feasible effort can be made to exclude it, that effort is executed.
