A first-person co-op smuggling sim. Buy low, sell high, stash the good stuff where customs won't look and talk your way past inspection. Upgrade from a rust bucket to a freighter, dodge pirates and earn enough to escape the galaxy — then do it again somewhere stranger.

About This Game

Every planet has a market. Every market has a customs officer.

Hold My Cargo is a first-person smuggling sim for one to four players. You run a small trade ship between five planets, buy goods where they're cheap and sell them where they're not. The legal stuff pays the fuel. The illegal stuff pays for the ship.

Carry it yourself

No spreadsheets. Every crate is a real box you pick up, haul across the landing pad and drop into your hold. Contraband goes into the stashes — behind the cooling unit, under the cockpit floor, in the crew quarters — and it's your job to make sure nothing is sticking out when the customs officer walks up the ramp.

Talk your way through inspection

Customs officers come in flavours: by-the-book, corrupt, vengeful, bored. Fill in your declaration, decide what to admit to, and read the man in front of you. Bribe him, bluff him, or trust your stashes. Three busts and your career is over.

Play together

In co-op one of you distracts the officer at the terminal while the others quietly move the crates he shouldn't find. Or split up on the planet: one hits the trade office, one works the black market, one checks the tavern for rumours about tomorrow's prices.

Grow your operation

  • Three hulls to earn your way through: the starter SPAWN, the mid-size CRANK and the two-deck BELL with a full cargo bay and nine stashes.
  • Ship modules: deck guns against pirates, a cruise booster, a cold store for perishable goods, stash shielding against scanners, an escape shuttle.
  • Living cargo that spoils, pirates who take your marked crates if you can't pay, and a heat meter that remembers what you did last time.

Escape the galaxy. Then find out it wasn't the end.

Hit the target and jump off the Empire's map. The next galaxy has new planets, new residents, harsher laws and a bigger number to chase. You keep your ship, your modules and your reputation — the galaxy doesn't.

Made by a small crew

Hold My Cargo is developed by Favera Studio, a three-person team. It's a game about the gap between what you declared and what's actually in the hold. We hope you enjoy standing in it.

AI Generated Content Disclosure

The developers describe how their game uses AI Generated Content like this:

Hold My Cargo is made by a three-person team at Favera Studio. Like many small studios, we use AI-assisted tools as part of our production pipeline — for exploring concepts and marketing artwork, speeding up parts of 3D asset, animation and texture work, drafting text and running automated testing. Every asset, animation and line of text that ships in the game is directed, reviewed, edited and approved by the team; nothing goes in unseen. The game does not generate any content at runtime — there is no live AI in Hold My Cargo, and no player data is sent to AI services.
