About This Game

Perihelion is a physics-based space combat roguelite where gravity is your greatest weapon. Launch from your carrier, execute high-speed orbital combat missions, and evolve your ship build run by run — solo or with your squad of up to 4 players.

Master Orbital Combat

At first glance, space combat looks simple: aim, shoot, survive. But in Perihelion, nothing moves in a straight line for long. Your ship carries momentum, your weapons inherit your velocity, and nearby planets constantly pull at everything in motion. The result is a combat system where positioning, timing, and understanding gravity matter just as much as reflexes.

You’ll find yourself slingshotting around planets to gain speed, curving shots through orbit to hit distant targets, and using what feels like a loss of control to turn the fight back in your favor. 

Rookie pilots may struggle, but once you embrace gravity as an ally, the same forces that once worked against you become the tools you rely on to survive. 

Fly Together

Team up with up to 4 pilots in full co-op. Coordinate slingshot runs, share radar intel, and fight through branching sorties that scale with your squad. Every wingmate counts.

Build Your Perfect Ship

During a run, each completed sortie presents you with a choice of upgrades that can dramatically change how your ship performs. You might increase your weapon fire rate, alter projectile behavior, add status effects like burn or EMP, or trigger powerful effects on enemy kills. These upgrades stack and interact, allowing you to build distinct builds as the run evolves.

Between missions, you return to your carrier to invest in a persistent skill tree that improves your survivability, firepower, and tactical flexibility. Whether you’re strengthening your hull, expanding your offensive capabilities, or improving your resource economy, every upgrade carries forward and makes future runs more viable.

Even failed runs contribute to your progression, ensuring that each attempt means more upgrades at your disposal.
