Why Early Access?

“We are using Early Access to develop Starlit Fields together with players. The game is built around farming, crafting, fishing, restaurant supply, community projects, and resident stories, and player feedback will help us improve the balance, pacing, usability, and long-term progression of these systems.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Early Access to last roughly 12 months, with a target of leaving Early Access around September 15, 2027. The exact timing may change based on development progress and player feedback.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to expand the story and resident events, add more seasonal activities and discoveries, and continue improving farming, fishing, crafting, restaurant supply, and community projects. We also plan to use player feedback to refine balance, progression, interface clarity, stability, and the overall flow of the game.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current build is a playable farming and community life experience. It includes the first-week farming loop, crop growth and harvesting, seed saving, fishing, tool crafting and repair, restaurant opening and supply, resident stories, river valley events, public projects, seasonal content, saves, and the core progression systems. We are continuing to polish balance, pacing, presentation, and edge cases while adding content.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to keep the price stable during Early Access. As we add substantial new content and features, we may gradually raise the price by no more than 100% from the Early Access price. We will communicate any price change clearly to the community in advance.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We will use Steam Discussions and community feedback to collect reports, suggestions, and playtest impressions. We will share development updates and patch notes, review feedback during development, and use it to prioritize fixes, usability improvements, balance changes, and future content.”

Legendary tools aren't bought with gold. They're earned with sweat and persistence. Complete challenges, prove your worth, and they'll find their way to you.
