Why Early Access?

“PIX Football Manager is already fully playable. Early Access is about what comes next and building it alongside the community.

We have built a football game unlike any other, and we rely on our community to tell us what works, what doesn’t, and where the game should go next. We plan to add new game modes, improve the simulation, introduce more animations, customisation options, Legends, and new systems.

But we don’t want to keep developing the game in the dark. We believe that building it with your feedback is how PIX Football Manager will shine even brighter.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect to remain in Early Access for around six months to one year, depending on development progress and feedback from the community.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“It’s PIX Football Manager, but more. We hope to polish the overall experience, improve the match simulation, and add more customisation options, game modes and clubs. Our plans may evolve throughout Early Access based on what we learn from the community.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version includes the game’s complete core experience. You can create your club and customise it to your liking, scout players from over 300 clubs, and compete with other clubs to sign them. You can also manage player contracts, club facilities and finances, and play the two core game modes: League and Cup.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Early Access will offer the game at its lowest base price as a thank you to those who believe in our vision and support the game as early adopters. We expect to increase the price when the full 1.0 version is released.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We’ll continue doing what we did during our closed playtests, keeping an open channel of communication through Discord and Steam Discussions. Players can interact directly with the developers and leave feedback in our dedicated forums. Many of the decisions that shaped the game we have today came directly from discussions with our community and we intend to keep it this way.”

The game is asynchronous, so you can play whenever you want while competing against clubs created by other managers and trying to overcome their tactics. Besides, it’s the best way for us to prevent cheating and keep things fair.

PIX Football Manager is a retro football management sim built around one idea: the best way to find a great player is to watch them play. You won’t know every player’s true ability before signing them. Every signing is a gamble. Some will disappoint. Others will become club legends.
