AONTHEVOID: NEVAEH is a first-person psychological horror investigation game where every case tells the story of a life consumed by the unknown.

Take on the role of Nevaeh, an investigator tasked with tracking manifestations known only as the Noise—entities that escape the Void by binding themselves to ordinary objects within the human world. Every investigation begins with an emergency call, but what appears to be a routine incident slowly unravels into a deeply personal tragedy hidden beneath witness interviews, forgotten recordings, and fragmented evidence.

Search abandoned locations, examine crime scenes, review VHS tapes, listen to interviews, uncover official reports, and solve interconnected environmental puzzles to reconstruct the truth. Every puzzle reveals another piece of the investigation until only one question remains:

What object became the vessel?

Choose correctly, and the Noise is banished.

Choose wrong, and something else may awaken.

CORE GAMEPLAY LOOP

Every investigation follows a structured progression:

• Receive a 911 call or emergency dispatch introducing the incident.

• Review the initial evidence, interviews, and reports.

• Solve environmental puzzles to unlock new evidence.

• Piece together conflicting witness accounts and hidden truths.

• Continue investigating until enough information has been uncovered.

• Identify and destroy the possessed vessel to complete the case.

Each completed investigation permanently changes Nevaeh's office, unlocking new artifacts, revealing pieces of a larger mystery, and bringing you closer to discovering the truth hidden behind every case.

HORROR PHILOSOPHY

Combat is not the answer.

The greatest threat is misunderstanding the truth.

Every investigation challenges the player to separate fact from fiction, testimony from deception, and grief from corruption. The horror emerges through atmosphere, symbolism, and the slow realization that every case is the final chapter of someone else's tragedy.

SESSION LENGTH

Each investigation is designed to take approximately 30–60 minutes, depending on exploration, puzzle solving, and attention to detail.

GROWING WORLD

Nevaeh is designed as an expanding collection of investigations.

New cases can introduce entirely new stories, environments, puzzles, evidence, and mysteries while continuing to expand the larger mythology surrounding the Void and the entities known as the Noise.

No two investigations are meant to tell the same story.

Every case reveals another forgotten tragedy.
