Why Early Access?

“Dash'n'Drops is, to me, a playground that needs to be explored, experimented with, and shaped over time. That is why I want to go through Early Access first: to share this new vision with players, adapt it based on their feedback and needs, and blend it with my own vision for a project I care so deeply about. The goal is to deliver a rhythmic, varied, unique and content-rich solo platform-fighter.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Between one and two years. I would rather aim wide than promise a date and let people down, but my goal is to reach version 1.0 within that window, taking whatever time is needed to make sure the result is worth it.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“Version 1.0 will bring significantly richer content: new game modes, new Diskettes and abilities through new characters that Globine will be able to copy, at least 7 Bosses, additional challenges, alternate costumes, and more developed story elements that will expand the world of Dash'n'Drops. A local multiplayer mode is also being considered.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Even now, the core of Dash'n'Drops already offers a solid experience. Here is what the game includes:

.A complete Arcade mode with 3 large Maps, 3 final Bosses, and 2 game modes
.3 playable Diskette types, each with their own abilities
.Colors to unlock and a bestiary to complete
.Permanent rewards: new game configurations and a mini-game”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will increase slightly when the game moves out of Early Access, to reflect the additional content added along the way. Players who join now get the lowest price and will receive all updates through the full release at no extra cost.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I will be active on the official Discord and Steam forums to gather feedback, answer questions and share development updates. Your input will be crucial in steering Dash'n'Drops in the right direction.”
