What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Raze Bone already has its core gameplay in place, but there is still plenty of room to grow.

Early Access gives us the opportunity to develop the game alongside the community. We want to use this time to improve the core systems, balance the crystal and offering mechanics, expand the world, add new content, and polish the overall experience.

Player feedback will be an important part of that process. Some systems may change as we learn what works best through actual play, and new ideas may find their way into the game along the way.

The goal is not simply to make Raze Bone bigger, but to make it more fun, more varied, and better to play with friends as development continues.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Raze Bone is currently planned to remain in Early Access for approximately 4–6 months.

During this time, we will focus on expanding the core gameplay, adding more content and variety, improving balance, and polishing the overall experience based on player feedback.

The exact timeline may change as development continues, but the goal is to move toward the full release once the game feels complete, stable, and ready for the experience we want Raze Bone to be.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version will contain the core Raze Bone experience, including its crystal mixing, Statue offerings, exploration, combat, and co-op gameplay.

During Early Access, we plan to expand these systems with more content, biome variety, Statue requirements, encounters, resources, and ways to approach each run. We will also use player feedback to improve balance, pacing, progression, and overall polish.

The full version is intended to feel like a more complete and varied Raze Bone experience, with more reasons to explore, experiment, and play through different runs with friends.

The core gameplay will remain the same — mix crystals, satisfy the Statues, adapt to the changing world, and try not to fall apart.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version already features the core Raze Bone gameplay loop and is fully playable with friends.

The main systems are in place, including crystal gathering and mixing, Statue offerings, changing biomes, exploration, combat, and physics-based character interactions.

During Early Access, the focus will be on expanding the variety of these systems, adding more content, improving balance and progression, and polishing the overall experience based on player feedback.

The game is intended to be enjoyable from the start of Early Access, while still leaving room to grow and become a larger, more varied experience before the full release.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The final pricing has not been fully decided yet.

The Early Access price is expected to reflect the current scope of the game, while the price may change as Raze Bone grows with additional content, features, and polish.

If the price changes before the full release, the change will be based on the overall development and scope of the game at that time.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We want Raze Bone to grow alongside its community.

During Early Access, player feedback will play an important role in improving the game. We will listen to feedback about gameplay, balance, progression, co-op experiences, bugs, and new ideas, and use it to help guide development.

We also want to see how players actually approach the game's systems. Sometimes the best ideas come from watching players do things we never expected.

Not every suggestion will make it into the game, but feedback will be considered carefully when deciding what to improve, change, or expand.

The goal is to build Raze Bone together with the people playing it.”

About This Game

Raze Bone

Raze Bone is a spooky co-op survival game for up to 5 players, where fragile skeletons explore strange, shifting worlds, mix colorful crystals, and try not to fall apart along the way.

💎 MIX, MATCH & EXPERIMENT

Statues don't simply hand you the crystal they need.

You'll find plenty of base-color crystals throughout the world and combine them to create new ones. Figuring out the right combination is usually easier than it sounds — and you can experiment freely.

Try a few colors together, see what happens, and work your way toward the color you need.

Mix something wrong?

No big deal. You'll have plenty of ways to find more crystals and try again.

Once you've found the right color, there's still the offering to consider. Statues can ask for a certain amount of crystal points, while things like purity and size can make a difference too.

🗿 MAKE THE OFFERING

Statue requirements can change with the level, difficulty, biome, and current state of the run.

Complete an offering and the world moves forward.

Biomes shift, structures change, new areas appear, and the challenges become tougher.

Every successful offering pushes the run somewhere new.

⛏️ PLENTY OF WAYS TO GET CRYSTALS

You won't be stuck mining crystals all day.

Find them in mines and biome-specific areas, fight creatures, turn ordinary loot into crystals, trade with merchants, or discover hidden treasures.

The world gives you plenty of options. How you get what you need is up to you.

💀 AND YES, YOU CAN FALL APART

You're a skeleton. Heavy hits can send your bones flying.

Luckily, your friends can pick up the pieces and put you back together.

So explore, experiment, fight, mix some questionable colors, and keep moving.

Just don't forget where you left your head.
