“Cults of the Endtimes is a complex project featuring deep cult management mechanics and global map interactions. As a solo developer, community feedback is critical to me at this stage. Early Access will allow me to fine-tune the balance of power, test performance across various hardware configurations, and ensure that core systems function exactly as intended before moving toward the final release."”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I expect Cults of the Endtimes to remain in Early Access until late 2026. This timeframe will allow for several major content updates and thorough balancing. However, this schedule may be adjusted depending on community feedback and the scope of new features suggested by players during development.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of Cults of the Endtimes is planned to be the definitive cult simulator. While the Early Access version provides the core experience, the final release will introduce much deeper evolution mechanics for ideologies, cult hierarchies, and deity manifestations. My goal is to create a robust 'Cult Constructor'—a system of interconnected mechanics designed to make every playthrough unique, ensuring that no two paths to the end of the world are ever the same.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“At present, Cults of the Endtimes features a fully functional core gameplay loop. The 'Cult Constructor' is operational, allowing players to define their organization's identity from the start. The global map is implemented, alongside the fundamental systems for ideology evolution, economy, and dynamic events. While these systems are in their early stages, they provide a solid foundation for a playable and engaging experience.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. The price of the game will increase upon the full release as more features, content, and polish are added. During Early Access, the game is available at a lower price ($7.50) to reward early supporters. I plan to increase the price to approximately $12–$15 when the game reaches version 1.0."”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“"The community is at the heart of Cults of the Endtimes. I will be actively monitoring the Steam Discussion forums and will maintain a dedicated Discord server to gather feedback on mechanics, balance, and bugs. About This Game

Forge the Idol You do not play as a god — you create one. An Egregore is an entity woven from collective psychosis, faith, and despair. You have hundreds of starting dogmas at your disposal. Will your savior be a bloodthirsty tyrant? A silent observer? Or something that has no name in human tongues?

The Evolution of Faith Forget micromanagement and building construction. Your weapon is the Idea. Ideas have a life of their own: they cross-breed, mutate, and spawn monstrous hybrids of belief. The faith of the flock is the flesh of your deity. If your followers crave blood, your god will twist to provide it. You guide the current, but you do not always control the flood.

War for the Fading Mind The world is dying. Literally. Time is running out. But you are not alone. Other cults seek to ascend their own egregores. This is a Darwinian battle of ideologies set against the backdrop of the apocalypse. In the end, only one will remain.
