Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Duel in the Town of Water to remain in Early Access for approximately 1 to 3 months, depending on player feedback and the pace of improvements.

Our goal is to move quickly while making meaningful updates to gameplay balance, matchmaking, and overall polish before full release.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to expand on the core duel experience by improving gameplay balance, refining timing mechanics, and enhancing matchmaking. Additional features may include more progression systems, expanded stat tracking, improved leaderboards, and overall polish to visuals, audio, and user interface.

The focus is on making the experience smoother, more competitive, and more rewarding while building on feedback from Early Access players.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The game is fully playable with the core duel experience in place. Players can compete against other players’ recorded duels, with live stats, high scores, win streak tracking, and leaderboards.

The primary gameplay loop is complete and stable, though the game is still being refined. Players may encounter minor bugs or balance adjustments as we continue to improve the overall experience during Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to keep the price consistent during Early Access, with a possibility of increasing it slightly as new features, improvements, and overall polish are added leading up to full release.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to actively use player feedback to guide development by monitoring gameplay data, stats, and community input. Feedback from players will help shape balance adjustments, gameplay improvements, and future features.

We will also use leaderboards, performance stats, and player behavior to better understand how the game is played and where improvements can be made.”
