About This Game

Rakshasa is a first-person RPG that will take you on a journey through the fractured soul of modern India, from luxury apartment blocks to decrepit slums and ancient temples. Immerse yourself in a dense urban Indian landscape with visuals influenced by both classic RPGs and early-00s digicams.

After an illicit excavation at a nearby ruin site awakens your dormant Tantrik powers, you are thrust into a hidden war involving rogue sadhus, scheming asuras, and centuries-old flesh-eating monsters. You will have to navigate a web of shifting alliances, fight for your life against supernatural horrors, and unravel a deepening conspiracy that threatens to consume the world.

Every character has a motive. Every choice matters.

There are scenes of semi-realistic violence against mythological creatures. Though not key to the plot, there are occasional depictions of NPCs drinking or smoking. There are no sexually explicit acts, but there is occasionally innuendo in dialogue with NPCs, and characters wearing revealing outfits are occasionally encountered.
