Text Dungeon blends the fast, log‑driven clarity of classic roguelikes with vivid, atmospheric scene descriptions reminiscent of MUDs and gamebooks. Most rooms play with traditional speed and precision—but scattered throughout the labyrinth are special encounters: hand‑crafted scenes, unique events, and narrative choices that bring the world to life without a single pixel of art.

Your mission is simple to state and difficult to survive: descend into the depths, steal the Ring of Life from the evil wizard Shingor, and return to the surface alive.
