A narrative survival game about climbing a mountain that grants wishes — if it lets you reach the top.

Lead a desperate expedition through freezing slopes, dwindling supplies, and impossible choices. Every step upward costs something.

Blizzards, exhaustion, strange encounters, and the mountain itself constantly reshape your journey.

Inspired by Ukrainian mythology and folk horror, Peak or Die blends painterly semi-realistic visuals with oppressive atmosphere and environmental storytelling.

CHOICES

Every choice has consequences

Help an injured traveler or save your remaining strength?
Search abandoned ruins for supplies or keep moving before the storm arrives?

There are no perfect decisions in Peak or Die — only trade-offs, risks, and consequences that follow your expedition all the way to the summit.

RESOURCE MANAGEMENT

Survival is more than numbers

Manage limited:

  • Team Spirit

Resources disappear faster than expected, and morale can collapse just as quickly as supplies.

Balancing survival against ambition is the only way forward.

CHARACTERS

Your team remembers everything

Each expedition member has their own personality, strengths, weaknesses, and relationships.

Conflicts, loyalty, fear, and exhaustion influence available decisions and shape the story of every climb.

REPLAYABILITY

No two climbs are alike

Different events, branching decisions, and card combinations create a new narrative every run.

You may never reach the summit — but every expedition leaves behind its own story.
