Deploy on missions into the Garden, domain of the Giants. Execute runs to install Truth’s subversive cable from the deployment zone to the great Routers of the Giants. Fight back their armies and defeat them to successfully connect the Truth. Speed is of the essence.

Swing your RJ45 Class Ethernet Head hard and fast. Beat back the creatures of the Garden. Shoot staples from the standard issue Staple Cannon. Latch on and swing from them.

It all happened too quickly. What was a momentary beacon of hope soon became our destruction. Humanity embraced a new era. With our eyes crusted and pink, and mouths sore from smiling we accelerated towards the singularity... and then through it. On the other side, reality was fractured, and from its swollen cavity sprang The Garden.

An impossible place where time and space are at once non-existent and the most coveted natural resource. A place controlled by the Giants. Vying for dominance over the Garden, the Giants are building armies. They manipulate their subjects through Eden, a vast fungal internet highway spreading mind-controlling misinformation.

But not all of us smiled in the face of the Giants.

Us. A freak. A surgically enhanced internet installation technician who’s connected to a sentient, politically radicalized brain called Truth. To serve Truth we execute expeditions into The Garden, running Truth’s nerve stem cable through it in order to rewire Eden’s network of control. To disrupt their conspiracy. To reclaim something... before we forget.

GARDEN OF GIANTS is an illustrative, surreal Action RPG by solo dev Dakota Pailes-Friedman, operating under his studio, BENEVOLENT SOFTWARE.

It’s a cohesive smashing together of genres. A tongue in cheek perspective on post capitalist technofeudalism, and an immersive journey into a grand and bizarre fantasy. A fast paced souls-like combat system meets the hyper speed runs of cruelty squad.
