What is it?

Do you like classic solitaire and the tarot’s occult aesthetic?

Star and Serpent Solitaire is a Klondike-style variant played with a 56-card tarot deck (with four extra Page cards) and 3-card deals, built for long-term play.

• Get your fortune told on wins: a playful tarot-style reading tied to the featured Major Arcana card.

• Earn gold and unlock content that carries over between games.

• Collect treasures that build up in your Treasure Chamber over time.

• Unlock a shop for upgrades and collectibles through progression.

• Unlock a slot machine for “try your luck” rewards (gold and rare treasures) through progression.

• Make it yours: change backgrounds and card backs (including your own image), and toggle visual extras on/off.

• Optional Zen mode: distraction free experience with all markings disabled.

• Separate profiles, achievements, and statistics.

Warnings, Before You Buy

• This is a difficult variant of Klondike solitaire.

• Try the free unlimited demo before you buy and see if the game suits you.

• All games cannot be won. This game uses full randomness and resembles playing solitaire with physical cards. This is a risky design decision I took early on. Some computer solitaire players will not enjoy this.

• 56 card deck winnability is approximately 6-10% lower than in regular 52 card Klondike solitaire.

• In long term you can expect to win perhaps 10-20% of the games, depending on skill and luck.

• There is no easy mode.
