In abandoned biomes, forgotten cities, and lifeless waters, you cast your line — often without knowing whether it is still worth it. Rare fish, fragile systems, and a world without explanation create an atmosphere that observes rather than entertains.

What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“It is in early-access because I want to integrate the community as much as possible.
Feedback and Community-Content is needed for the full game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“About 2 - 6 Months”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of Last Fisherman is planned to expand on the current core experience.

We plan to add additional biomes, more fish species (including rare and exotic ones), new story events, and more environmental variety.

We also want to further expand progression systems, balancing, and quality-of-life features based on player feedback.
While the core gameplay loop is already in place, the Early Access version does not yet include all planned content, biomes, and narrative elements that are intended for the full release.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of Last Fisherman is fully playable and contains the core gameplay systems.
Players can explore multiple biomes, catch a wide variety of fish with different rarities, earn money, upgrade equipment, and progress through the game loop.
The current version already reflects the intended atmosphere and pacing of the game, but some content, biomes, fish species, and story elements are still missing and will be added during Early Access.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually increase the price during Early Access as new content and features are added.
Players who buy the game early will get access at a lower price, while later versions reflecting more content and polish may be priced higher.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“The community can influence development through feedback in discussions, reviews, and in-game suggestions.
Player feedback will be used to improve balancing, content direction, and overall polish during Early Access.”
