About This Game

TimeCat is a top-down 2D 360-degree action shooter.
You create cats by consuming your own Lifetime—cats function as bullets and as walls. Defeat enemies, reclaim Lifetime they drop, and keep pushing forward. Because Lifetime is both your ammo and your HP, the more aggressively you attack, the more you deplete it—while skilled play lets you increase it. This risk-and-reward loop is at the core of the game.

Gameplay Flow

  • Move around the stage and attack with cats while dodging enemy attacks.

  • Defeating enemies restores your Lifetime, and the next enemy formation appears.

  • Once certain conditions are met, the phase advances, changing enemy density and attack patterns.

Key Features

  • Lifetime as resource management: The more cats you create to strengthen your offense and defense, the more Lifetime you consume.

  • Lifetime = ammo + HP: Spend your own Lifetime to fire and fight.

  • Recovery elements: Collect items dropped by enemies to restore your Lifetime.

  • Designed for repeat runs: About 5–10 minutes per run (estimated). Aim for a higher score and the deepest phase you can reach.
