About This Demo

- [Game Setting] The game takes place within the protagonist's dream world. Due to emotional suppression in real life, the protagonist's mental state has deteriorated significantly. All scenes and settings in the dream world serve as an artistic reflection of the real world. Props such as butterfly knives embody subconscious intentions.

- [Red Butterfly Knife] In Freud's tripartite personality psychology theory, red represents the id, which is the driving force of primitive desires. It tends to seek immediate gratification without considering practical factors and has a potential for impulsive aggression. Based on this, I designed this red butterfly knife to represent the id personality trait. (In the real world, the id is suppressed for a long time, and this suppression erupts in the spiritual world.) Furthermore, the protagonist's id personality has an extreme pursuit of dance. She likes to dance in her beloved red dress and enjoys this feeling of freedom. Secondly, I feel that the action of swinging the butterfly knife is like a ballet dancer leaping with fingertips, which resonates with the obsession with dance in the red dress. Therefore, combining the two design characteristics of "impulsive aggression" and "dance obsession", I ultimately settled on this design scheme for the red butterfly knife. (Id Storm: Impulsive Aggression, etc.)

- [Blue Scanner] In the psychological tripartite personality theory, blue represents the superego personality, which is characterized by moral pressure, self-criticism, and behavioral norms based on self-sociality, influenced by the environment and group beliefs. Simply put, the superego is a psychological personality model that observes the outside world and internally restricts one's own behavior. Therefore, I use a scanner that can scan the environment as a prop intention for the superego. (Superego Storm: Self-abduction, self-attack, absolute abduction by rules. Emotions, rest, and physiological needs are neglected until the individual develops somatization characteristics.)

- Supplement: Although the Demo version can only showcase a small portion of the game content, almost all design elements in the game are strictly based on psychological theories. This is a unique art of psychology. Combined with the game's plot, players will gain a deeper understanding and knowledge of psychology through the game. They will also use the game as a "mirror" to observe their inner selves, further understanding and accepting themselves. I hope that players who have played "TheWhiteLamb:NoShelter" will be filled with courage and confidence for the rest of their lives, using their full vitality to overcome emotional issues in life and find the right balance within their inner personality.
