In the abyssal depths of consciousness beneath a deep coma, every memory you refuse to face grows into a devouring labyrinth. What you seek to reclaim is not just your memories, but the very self on the verge of shattering.

The White Lamb : No Shelter is a first-person psychological horror shooter with a linear narrative. You play as White Lamb, a girl and second-generation human test subject forced into competitive gymnastics by her mother. You have never had the right to choose your own life: tight gymnastics leotards have replaced your beloved red dance dress; endless training has crushed your dream of performing on stage; even the woman you call "Mother" is nothing more than a researcher tasked with observing and awakening your latent superpowers. Shattered by the dual traumas of school bullying and abandonment by your mother, the Id and Superego deep within your psyche spiral completely out of control. In the throes of your breakdown, you harm yourself and sink into an endless coma.

Who are you? You are the Ego — the core personality among the three, the host personality that balances primal impulse and moral reason. You possess a latent power of self-healing, yet you were the first to lose all your memories, even forgetting why you are trapped in this twisted realm.

Where are you? You wander through a domain of consciousness built from your own lingering memories: an empty gymnasium forever echoing with training commands, a dim alley strewn with fragments of your dance dress, a silent house where a cold dinner sits untouched… Every setting is the wreckage of trauma you have deliberately buried, and every mirror could reflect another unfamiliar version of yourself.

What must you do? Recover the lost fragments of your memory. Mend the rift with your Id personality, and let the impulsive Crimson Lamb lower her guard. Finally, confront the Superego personality consumed by perfectionism and guilt, put an end to the ceaseless self-attack, and make your fractured psyche whole again — to truly awaken from this prolonged coma of the mind.

Grip the firearm manifested from your consciousness, and the red butterfly knife stained with despair. The pink rabbits lurking around the corners of memory are grotesque echoes of your bullies, etched into your psyche. They swarm at your most vulnerable moments, tearing at your mental defenses with raw, primal malice. You can rend their bodies apart with gunfire, or land a decisive killing blow from behind with the butterfly knife — every hit is a strike back against the trauma they inflicted.

You will meet the Crimson Lamb (your Id personality). Fiery and impulsive, she acts on the instinct to protect you, yet always drives everything further into ruin when she loses control. From bitter hostility at first to fighting side by side later, you must personally retrieve the dance competition invitation destroyed by your mother and the red dance dress thrown into the garbage by your bullies — mending her trust with these lingering fragments of tenderness. She will step forward when you are surrounded by pink rabbits, incinerating threats with her laser eyes, just like that out-of-control yet instinctively protective part of yourself in reality.

Explore twisted memoryscapes, solve puzzles hidden within the details of everyday objects, leap and weave through towering, uneven gymnastics apparatus, and race for your life against surging tides of negative emotion.

Eventually, you will come face to face with the Azure Lamb (your Superego personality). She forever condemns you as insufficient, forever seeks to flee from an imperfect reality, and will assault you by manipulating everything in the environment around you.

This is no battle to destroy an enemy — it is a journey of reconciliation with yourself. The one you must defeat has never been anyone else, but the voice inside that constantly denies and punishes you.

This is more than a fight for survival within your own consciousness — it is a reckoning with who you are. When the gunfire fades into silence in the depths of your psyche, will you have the courage to carry all your broken memories back into an imperfect real world?
