Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We plan to be in Early Access for approximately 3 to 4 months. However, this timeline may be adjusted depending on the volume of feedback and the complexity of new features requested by the community.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to offer a significantly expanded experience, including:

Steam Workshop Integration: We plan to add full support for Steam Workshop, allowing users to easily share their own creations and download custom characters from the community directly into the software.

Advanced AI Features: Deeper integration with new AI models, improved memory of past conversations, and smarter context awareness.

Extended Gameplay: Additional minigames and expanded collectible systems.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version is fully functional and includes all core features:

AI Chat Integration: Interact with your characters using only local AI Model

Virtual Companion Features: Productivity timers, system monitoring, and desktop interaction.

Customization: Full support for character scaling, resolution adjustments, and animation movement.

Systems: RPG progression (XP/Leveling) and optimization tools are already implemented. We are currently focusing on polishing the experience, fixing minor bugs, and preparing the engine for new mechanics suggested by the community.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually increase the price as we ship new content and features. Early supporters get the benefit of a lower price while we continue to expand the software's capabilities”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We actively monitor the Steam Community Hub, social media channels, and our official Discord server. We will host polls for new features, discuss gameplay mechanics directly with players, and prioritize bug fixes based on community reports. CMChar is built for you, and your suggestions directly impact our development roadmap”

Living Personalities (Powered by Local AI)

Powered by Local AI (Ollama), your mascots don't just repeat canned lines. Everything runs 100% locally on your machine, ensuring maximum privacy and no internet dependency for chats.

Real Conversations: Chat about any topic and get contextual responses based on the character's persona. Customizable Soul: You define your mascot's personality in the settings. Want a helpful assistant or a sarcastic companion? It's up to you. Cross-Mascot Chat: Have multiple mascots on screen? Watch them interact and talk to each other automatically, each with their own unique personality!
