Now, a single piece of evidence—a blurry photo of a figure on a stone bridge—draws you to the remote, rain-lashed village of Aelwater. You arrive only to find a community already drowning, not just in water, but in the ghostly echoes of its own forgotten past.

Aelwater is not like other places. Shielded by time and strange faith, its people believe the memories of the departed are tangible things, flowing into the waters of the Ael River to be guarded by a mortal keeper.
