A CARAVAN ON THE BRINK OF COLLAPSE

The Black Breath is a tactical survival RPG in which you manage a caravan of survivors that must cross several dangerous regions, each with its own identity, to reach the Port City of Serria and escape the spreading pestilence known as the Black Breath.

Features:

• Manage the caravan’s scarce resources to ensure the civilians survive the journey.

• Choose where to travel among several Regions, each with its own enemies, climates, and mechanics.

• Explore maps made up of procedurally connected nodes, and decide which path to follow using the information you have gathered.

• Encounter different Retinues along the way that may join the caravan and contribute in their own way.

• Rely on the protection of characters from different classes, each with distinct traits, abilities, and development possibilities.

• Defend the caravan in turn-based tactical battles fought across opposing grids, where positioning, resources, and party composition are essential.

• Every successful caravan will leave behind civilians and resources that will help improve the Port City, unlocking support for future caravans.

TURN-BASED TACTICAL BATTLES

The Black Breath features a turn-based tactical combat system in which positioning can decide every encounter. Battles take place across opposing grids that force your characters into direct confrontation with unique enemies.

The caravan will face dozens of different enemies, each with its own behaviors, weaknesses, and unique mechanics depending on the current region and the level of the Black Breath.

The caravan’s characters are generated from six main classes, each offering a wide variety of abilities and traits to ensure that every Character is unique.

During the journey, each character may perform a campaign activity to help the caravan in different ways. They may also become sick, suffer from fatigue, or even die permanently.

ROGUELITE REPLAYABILITY

Each game begins with a new caravan, but the world does not reset. Global Corruption permanently advances every time you begin a journey, whether that caravan succeeds or fails.

Once Corruption reaches a certain level, no more caravans can be started. All that remains is to face the Final Mission at the Port of Serria, where characters from the different caravans that managed to reach the city must defend the civilians as they board the ships and prepare to escape.

Between caravans, rescued civilians take refuge in the city and contribute to upgrades, the construction of new structures, and bonuses that will aid future caravans.

A DEATH RATTLE

After his destruction at the hands of humanity’s united forces, the Lich Kadryn released, with his final breath, a pestilence of death and decay that condemned every living creature on the Great Blue Peninsula.

Several caravans of desperate survivors began forming throughout the region, all hoping to flee toward the Port of Serria, where dozens of ships are being prepared to carry them safely across the ocean and away from the Black Breath.
