Why Early Access?

“Unended is entering Early Access so we can gather real-world player feedback on progression, combat, exploration, loot, world balance, and overall pacing. Because the game is built around a large world with lots of enemies, animals, gear, and progression systems, player testing is essential to properly tune difficulty, balance, performance, and progression. Early Access allows us to iterate quickly with the community before locking major systems for the full release.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“We expect Unended to remain in Early Access for approximately 2 years. This timeframe may change depending on player feedback, development progress, and the stability and balance of the game’s core systems.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version of Unended is planned to include:

Thousands more items, weapons, gear, and collectibles
More biomes, structures, landmarks, and areas to discover throughout the infinite world
A much deeper progression and Power Level system
Expanded base building and base raiding
More animals, enemies, bosses, and creatures
More secrets, challenges, and rare loot
Continued performance improvements, polish, and quality-of-life updates

The core world, exploration, combat, looting, and progression are already playable in Early Access, but we plan to greatly expand the amount of content and depth over time.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The Early Access version of Unended includes the core exploration, combat, looting, progression, and multiplayer systems described in the “About This Game” section. Players can explore the infinite world, discover biomes and structures, fight enemies, collect gear and items, encounter wildlife, and increase their Power Level.

The game already includes a large amount of content, but many systems are still being expanded. We plan to add thousands more items and collectibles, new biomes, structures, enemies, progression systems, and base raiding throughout Early Access.

Unended is fully playable, but players should expect bugs, balance issues, unfinished content, and major changes as development continues.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to actively involve the community throughout Early Access by gathering feedback from players across our Discord and social media channels, including Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube. We regularly share development updates, gameplay changes, and work-in-progress features, and we closely monitor comments, discussions, and player feedback.

Community feedback will play a key role in balancing bird abilities, refining multiplayer gameplay, identifying bugs, and prioritizing quality-of-life improvements. We aim to remain transparent about development decisions and use player input to guide updates and improvements during Early Access.”
