About This Game

Aeterna was the ultimate city and the eventual endpoint of human-machine coexistence. A self-sustained, self-sufficient ecosystem built to thrive amid the barren wastes of the fallen world, a monument to humanity's final hope. Its design approached perfection, yet ethical concerns demanded a safeguard: a human consciousness digitized and merged with the AI to provide the "human touch" the people feared losing. One fragile thread keeping the balance intact.

Restore Aeterna’s humanity through the Husk Protocol, allowing the last remnants of human consciousness to override the city’s mechanical workforce and use them to reach its corrupted core.

Husks are powerful, with their own decks, playstyles and relics. However, damage is permanent. Not only must you take advantage of each Husk’s strength as you battle your way through each biome, you must also engage in Husk Switching - a powerful tool that allows you to jump between Husks when one is near destruction in order to survive, allowing for a range of different strategies.  

You are being hunted by the city’s mainframe as you traverse between each node through 3 biomes. Initiate Husk Switching or Hack the city’s Countermeasures during battle for powerful rewards and to delay detection. If the detection meter hits 0, the Guardian of the biome will begin looking for you and a boss battle may commence early, so be prepared!

With each loss, you grow stronger, unlocking more husks, cards and modules with each run of this first-person roguelite deckbuilder.
