About This Game

CONTRACT SIGNED. BODY ISSUED. WELCOME TO HELL.

The year is 2185. Quarantined Planet X-42, Kepler-7 system. Terra-Mine Corporation lost control of its depths five years ago — and decided not to neutralize the threat, but to milk it.

You are an operator. You sit in a neuro-sync chair aboard The Helix, high above the planet, while your consciousness is beamed into a Bio-Android — a tank-grown body with a neuro-receiver where its brain should be. The Hellpod pierces the atmosphere and buries itself in bedrock. You open your eyes in hell.

"Host critical failure. Initiating neuro-link reset protocol. Next shell prepared for load-in."A.U.R.A., AI curator of the operation. To her, you are not a hero. You are a calculated line in a loss report.

For Terra-Mine, your body is an expense. But your contract has one line worth dying for: Corporate Citizenship. The right to one day leave this planet rich and free.

Vastloop is a co-op roguelite first-person shooter with an extraction loop, an aggressive survival system, and deep mid-run build modification.

⚡ AGGRESSIVE SURVIVAL

Defense in Vastloop feeds on death. Camping behind cover is just a slow way to die.

  • Kill to live. Shields don't regenerate. Vampiric Capacitors rip energy cells from shattered enemies — the only way to restore your armor.

  • No medkits. Health is an emergency reserve. Medical nanites in the Android's blood slowly mend tissue, but standard stim-packs are useless on alien physiology.

  • Find the rhythm. The faster and cleaner you kill, the deadlier you become. State of flow, baked into the rules.

🛠️ THE DEATH CONSTRUCT

You are not a lone hero. You are a reconfigurable corporate weapon.

  • Service Zones. Deep in the caves you hijack the Ancients' Autonomous Repair Modules. For Nanites, they'll reforge your weapons, bolt on modifiers, and upgrade your abilities. An ordinary rifle becomes a doomsday tool.

  • Arsenal of 4 manufacturers.Kinetix Dynamics — "A Weighty Argument" (shotguns, machine guns). Vertex Energy — "Clean Energy. Clean Victory" (lasers, plasma). Aesir Cybernetics — neuro-implants and shields. Vulcan Systems — "Controlled Chaos" (grenades, mines).

  • Meta-progression. Harvested DNA Samples and Data Arrays upgrade Bio-Android templates back on The Helix. Every next body rolls off the line stronger than the last.

  • 7 Bio-Android classes. Assault, Tank, Scout, Medic, Engineer, Berserker, Sentinel. Body destroyed? Load into a different class — each model is a separate platform with pre-installed implants.

🕸️ THE LIVING ECOSYSTEM

Planet X-42 is not a backdrop. At its core pulses The Source — a colossal crystalline monolith radiating the Resonance of Evolution. It forces matter to mutate toward "perfection." It also explains everything: shifting corridors, weapon affixes, machine madness. Four known threats. And one the briefing will not mention.

  • THE SWARM — biological threat. An aggressive ecosystem evolved in eternal darkness. Scouts, Soldiers, Queens. Countless. Coordinated. They already know you are here.

  • THE SYMBIOTES — techno-organic threat. Where technology meets flesh. Hybrids that absorbed both machine and organism. They mimic the voices of your predecessors — "Help me," "Run," "It hurts" — not in pain, but as tactics.

  • ANCIENT SENTINELS — mechanical threat. Autonomous machines of the Antecedent civilization. Their programming is Resonance-corrupted: attack any organic — you, the Swarm, the Symbiotes. Instead of blood, they bleed sparks and oil.

  • [ CLASSIFIED ] — anomalous threat. A.U.R.A. cuts sensors on approach to Sector Ζ. The Sentinels don't just guard the perimeter. The Swarm doesn't enter those corridors. The Corporation wants the artifacts. Questions — not on your contract.

Turn the factions against each other — Monster Infighting is a tool, not an accident. Take the loot while they tear each other apart. And remember: the longer you linger, the fiercer Swarm Escalation becomes. Run — or be crushed.

🤝 CORPORATE CO-OP

Form a squad of up to 4 operators. Sync your builds, cover each other's flanks, pit enemies against each other in your favor.

The final trial — the Quantum Anchor. There is no physical evacuation: the Bio-Android body is consumed in the energy surge of transfer. Only DNA and Data are beamed back to The Helix through the narrow-band channel. Weapons and Nanites don't make it — matter doesn't pass. But the Swarm senses the discharge and goes berserk. The final phase isn't a defense — it's the Victory Lap: a breakneck run to the beam through waves of enemies.

Corporate Citizenship isn't granted to those who can't finish a contract.

🔥 WHAT SETS VASTLOOP APART

  • Extraction loop without toxic PvP. The thrill of "make it out" — without players camping the exit.

  • Lore baked into the rules. Loot doesn't persist? Your body burned during evacuation. Corridors shift? Source Resonance warps space. Weapon affixes? Matter mutating in the Resonance field. Every game convention is explained by the setting.

  • Gunplay with weight. Recoil, scatter, dismemberment. 4 weapon manufacturers — 4 distinct combat styles.

  • Roguelite without the RNG tax. A bad run still upgrades your templates on The Helix. Progress — always.

Body ready for deployment. Try to earn your keep, operator.
